Fishing Action right from our dock.
Fishing like this is right outside your door.

Our Kenai Peninsula rivers, lakes, tributaries, and creeks are replete with a wide variety of fish. King salmon, silvers (coho), reds (sockeye), pinks (humpy), rainbows, steelhead, grayling, and dolly varden make the Kenai fishing some of the finest in the world.

The Holly House prides itself in providing a private dock and riverbank, giving you an exclusive section of the river to fish unencumbered by the crowds found in public access areas. Ideal fishing holes are yours right in the backyard, or take advantage of several excellent local fishing charters with long-time guides and see the river by boat.

The Kenai River has the world's largest King salmon, with both early and late summer runs. Return home with a world-record chinook and world-record stories.

Sockeye salmon (reds) are among our most popular sport, commercial, and personal-use fishery. Stay tuned to the radio for the fabled call: "The reds are in!" and join local residents as they stack their caches for winter. Pixies and Kenai coho flies are best as lures and will get you hollering, "Fish on!"

For a more relaxing day of fishing, get comfortable with a hot beverage and try your luck for the silvers. Salmon roe is the bait of choice for this brilliant fish in late July and August. Your patience will pay off with a quick strike and a display that will make silver fishing a sure favorite.
