Designed and built by George Holly, Holly House is
crafted in loving detail. Its slate patio and accompanying barbecue pit welcome outdoor
feasting. From its spacious living and dining rooms, to its breathtaking deck
overlooking the Kenai River, Holly House will give you the sense of living among eagles.

Our rooms are named for
local Dena'ina Indian "place names," and feature Native art
from around our state as well as some from our son, George, Jr. Each room has a private
bath and can be arranged with a king sized bed and one extra long twin, or with three
extra long twins, according to your liking.
| The Yaghanen Room Meaning
"Good Land", referring to the Kenai Peninsula. For a thousand years the
Peninsula has attracted attention due to its exceptional wildlife and abundant resources.
This is our deluxe accomodation. It is located on the ground floor and features a
mini-kitchenette with microwave oven, under counter refrigerator, toaster and dishes (we
take care of the washing and drying). Its large bedroom and private bath give it all the
comforts of home. |

| A spacious living room with beautiful slate flooring provides the
opportunity to relax at the end of the day while viewing the splendor of the Kenai River
right outside. Native handcrafts and Alaska theme pictures adorn the walls providing a
genuine Alaskan atmosphere.
The Ts'eldatnu Room
Meaning "Trickles Down Creek" and is the origin of the english word Soldotna,
where this small creek attracted settlement along the Kenai River. This accomodation is
located on the mid-level of our house. One of its treasured amenities is the magnificent
view overlooking the Kenai River from its spacious deck. It has a private bath, large
bedroom and use of our Great Room as an area to kick back and relax after a full day of
activities.
Our Breakfast
"We strive to accommodate your needs and tastes, whether your the early morning
angler or the mid-morning riser. Breakfast can be 'continental' or a hearty spread
prepared by 'Chef George'.
